Satoru Taguchi Profile
Born in 1975 in Yokohama, Japan, where he was also raised. Deeply influenced by skateboarding art culture from an early age, he founded the skate team METROPIA in 2000 and began studying clothing design. Today he is primarily known as the designer of CHALLENGER. Since the early days of the brand, he has created numerous bandana artworks, which he showcases through the traveling exhibition “BANDANALYZE,” held both in Japan and internationally.
Fragrance
A clear and refreshing opening of lemon and pine is accented by lavender and nutmeg. This develops into the soft sweetness of tonka bean and sandalwood, creating a warm and comforting feeling. Finally, woody notes of patchouli, vetiver, and cedarwood leave a calm and lasting impression. The result is a refined sweet oriental woody fragrance that feels both casual and elegant.
